PARTIES AND SPECIAL EVENTS

For a cultural and memorable affair, the Museum offers an incredible and historic venue on Lake Tahoe’s West Shore. Several organizations, clubs, businesses, and individuals have discovered the Museum to be the perfect setting for a celebratory kick-off event, appreciation dinner, and off-site business meeting location.

The Community Gathering Area is a multi-purpose space where Museum visitors can relax, warm themselves by the fire after a long day of skiing, and enjoy the Tahoe Memories film which runs throughout the day. During special events, the community area can be transformed to accommodate a brunch, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, or a full seated meal.

In addition to the Community Gathering Area, the Museum’s second story includes a library and archive area suitable for a private meeting space (up to 12 people seated comfortably). Weather permitting, the Museum’s boat house style doors can be opened allowing for outdoor dining and entertaining. Private parties as large as 100 or as exclusive as 25 will enjoy the specific amenities offered by this venue.
