Wooden Paddleboard Building Course
EARLY BIRD SIGNUP PRICING UNTIL MARCH 31, 2020!
The Tahoe Maritime Museum Wooden Paddleboard Building Course returns for 2020 – June 6 – June 13, 2020.
The course will use Chesapeake Light Craft paddleboards, which are built from marine plywood using a stitch and glue method. TMM is honored to have Larry Froley, from Gray Whale Paddle in California and Kaholo paddleboard co-designer, as our instructor for this course.
Participants will choose from either the 12’6” board (better for smaller paddlers), or the 14’ board (better for larger paddlers). Participants will also have the choice to build prone paddleboards – the San O’ 14′ or 16′. We can help select the proper board. These boards are great for touring or even racing, as they each fit in common race categories.
